Somebody comes along and tells him that something is “immoral” and “he mustn’t do it because it’s wicked!”

And he says, “Gee, I’ll have to find out. Is it?”

They don’t give him any reason. They say, “This is against the law,” or they say, “This is immoral,” and that’s the end of it. He doesn’t have any definition, so he can’t think about this. Nobody is asking him to think about it: they’re just telling him that “this is immoral and it’s wicked and bad.” And then they tell him something very strange that he probably can’t believe. They probably say, “You’ll go to hell if you do this.”
